Casey joined Evans, Philp LLP as an associate in 2021, having previously summered and articled with the firm. She is building a broad practice in insurance defence litigation, with an interest in defending institutional sexual assault claims. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021. 

Casey received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2020 and was a member of their first Health Law Specialization cohort. She also obtained a Masters of Neuroscience and Bachelor of Science at McMaster University prior to law school. Her research regarding the relationship between brain injury and problematic sexual behaviours was recently published in Frontiers in Psychology, Forensic and Legal Psychology section.

Outside of law, Casey enjoys spinning on her Peloton and sampling local restaurants and breweries. She is a member of the Hamilton Law Association and Canadian Defence Lawyers.
