Cara L. Boddy

Biography

Cara Boddy joined Evans, Philp LLP in 2003 as an articling student, and has been practicing in the Litigation Group since 2004, initially handling a wide variety of litigation matters. During the last few years, Ms. Boddy has shifted to practicing exclusively in the area of accident benefits and disability claims, and has appeared before numerous levels of court, the Financial Services Commission Ontario and Private Arbitrators. Ms. Boddy is a member of the Hamilton Law Association and the Canadian Defence Lawyers organization. Ms. Boddy is also pleased to have accepted additional responsibility in terms of the recruitment of students and the administration of the articling program at Evans, Philp, LLP.

Born: Scarborough, Ontario; admitted to the Bar 2004, Ontario.

Education: McMaster University (B. Kin., 2000); University of Western Ontario (LL.B. 2003).

Areas of Practice: Ms Boddy practices in the area of civil litigation, primarily insurance defence.
