PAUL H. PHILP, Partner

Born: Hamilton, Ontario; admitted to Bar, 1985, Ontario. 

Education: University of Western Ontario (B.A., 1980); Queen's University (LL.B., 1983); Lecturer, Business Law, Mohawk College, Hamilton, 1985-1987.

Areas of Practice: Mr. Philp practises in the areas of civil litigation and insurance law. His extensive experience includes: counselling insurance companies in all areas of insurance law, negotiating settlements and appearing before all levels of Courts in Ontario. 

Mr. Philp has practiced in the defence insurance area since his call to the Bar. He has a focused commitment to serving the interests of insurance clients, and has developed a comprehensive knowledge of the law and a professional expertise, which enable him to effectively represent insurers, both at trial and in the settlement process.
