MATTHEW MACISAAC
Born: Sudbury, Ontario, admitted to the Bar 2007, Ontario.
Education: University of Toronto (B.Comm., 2003); University of Western Ontario (LL.B., 2006).

Matthew MacIsaac joined Evans, Philp LLP as an associate in 2007, following the completion of his articles with the firm. He practices in the area of insurance defence litigation. Matthew was born in Sudbury and raised in Oakville. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, graduating with Honours. He obtained an LLB from the University of Western Ontario, where he worked as a Supervisor at Community Legal Services, establishing intake hours at the Salvation Army and the Mens’ Mission. Matthew was called to the bar in June, 2007. Matthew currently sits as a member of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton & Burlington and has been a Big Brother for 9 years. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Hamilton Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
