MATTHEW MACISAAC

Matthew MacIsaac was born in Sudbury, Ontario. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Honours B.Comm, 2003) and the University of Western Ontario (LL.B. 2006). He was called to the bar in June 2007.

Matthew joined Evans, Philp LLP as an associate in 2007, following the completion of his articles with the firm. He practices primarily in the area of insurance defence litigation, where he regularly represents some of Canada’s largest insurance companies.

Matthew currently sits as a member of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton & Burlington. Prior to that he was a big brother for 9 years.

Matthew is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Hamilton Law Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Defence Research Institute and Canadian Defence Lawyers.
