KAMILA B. POLUS
Kamila received her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2010 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011. While at Western, Kamila was the recipient of the Ted Wohl Prize in Labour Law as well as the Cavalluzzo Hayes Shilton McIntyre & Cornish Award in Labour Law, and was involved in a wide range of community activities. Kamila worked as a Project Leader for Pro Bono Students Canada providing labour and employment advice to a local London business as well as a non profit organization. In her first year of law school Kamila worked on an international law project aimed at establishing a war crimes tribunal in Liberia for the prosecution of Charles Taylor. Before attending law school, Kamila received a dual Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in History and Political Studies from Queens University.
Prior to joining Evans Philp, Kamila articled at a labour and employment boutique in Toronto and worked for the United Nations at the International Labour Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
Kamila is fluent in Polish and can readily assist clients in both Polish and English.
Kamila is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, and the Hamilton Law Association.
